What Happens During a Morpheus8 Treatment?

We perform Morpheus8 treatments in-office, using local anesthesia only. We will cleanse, prep, and numb your skin before the procedure begins. Once you’re ready, the Morpheus8 handheld device will pass over your skin. This device contains microneedles that work at different energies to treat the deep layers of the skin. Although your skin will be numb, you’ll still feel some of the pressure from the microneedles. However, our clients don’t complain, and in fact are always eager to return for their next session. Depending on your Morpheus8 treatment regime, you can expect to have between 1-3 sessions.

Downtime and Results

Morpheus8 in Austin doesn’t require any physical restraints, but your skin will be quite red for 1-7 days following treatment. You may also see small lesions in the treated area. Patients should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure during recovery.

It is also recommended that you use a good broad-spectrum sunscreen every day. Makeup can be applied 1-2 days after the treatment.

Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically after three weeks, the most noticeable results appear. Improvements will continue up to three months after treatment.
