How Does Votiva FormaV Work?

Votiva FormaV provides a customizable solution to address a variety of feminine health concerns that occur due to aging, hormonal changes, or physical damage. The procedure works by using radiofrequency heat energy to stimulate thermal remodeling of the tissue, making it firmer and stronger on the interior and more toned and comfortable on the exterior. Votiva FormaV also includes built-in safeguards to keep the device from burning the skin as an added precaution.

What to Expect During a Votiva FormaV Treatment

The Votiva FormaV device tip will be inserted into the vagina, where it will deliver radiofrequency energy pulses. This feels like a warm sensation and is completely comfortable. The handheld device will be moved in and out of the vagina for about ten minutes, and will then be used on the outside of the vagina for another ten minutes to treat the exterior.

The total procedure time is less than 30 minutes. Most women require 1-3 sessions.

Recovery and Results for Votiva FormaV

After Votiva FormaV in Austin, there is a 48-hour time frame of pelvic rest, and no heat should be applied to the tissue. Results from Votiva FormaV are typically felt and seen immediately, with results progressing over the following weeks. If the first treatment isn’t adequate, virtually all patients have experienced relief from the second treatment. Once your Votiva FormaV treatments have been completed, we suggest a maintenance appointment every 6-12 months to maintain your results.

Is Votiva FormaV Right for You?

Morpheus8V

Morpheus8V combines two powerful treatments — radiofrequency and microneedling — to rejuvenate the vagina and promote overall vaginal wellness. This advanced procedure addresses such issues as laxity, dryness, reduced sensation and orgasm, urinary incontinence and frequency, lichen sclerosus, vulvar psoriasis, and vulvar vestibulitis. Many of these conditions are the result of pregnancy, childbirth, and age.

Morpheus8V offers a non-surgical procedure with minimal risk and very little downtime. The radiofrequency works to trigger new collagen growth using heat energy, which firms the vaginal skin. Microneedling also stimulates new collagen growth, but does so using micro-needles to kick-start the body’s wound healing process. Both of these treatments together rejuvenate the vaginal skin and help with a variety of health issues (see above).

Treatments are quick and convenient (only about 30 minutes) and are safe for all skin types and tones.

Morpheus8V is performed with the application of a topical anesthetic to make it comfortable. Because of the microneedling, we do advise avoiding sex, excessive sweating, and swimming for 1-2 weeks, until the small holes have fully closed. What is V-Tone?

V-Tone is a non-surgical procedure designed to strengthen the pelvic floor. This remarkable treatment can improve vaginal muscle laxity, stress and urge urinary incontinence, vaginal tone, and urinary urgency/frequency.

It can also be used for simple vaginal maintenance. The procedure works by using electro-stimulation to create muscle contractions that aren’t possible to achieve with Kegel exercises, significantly improving a weakened or overstretched pelvic floor.
